The New "On Call"

So as a new dad I've come to appreciate the freedom a baby monitor can offer--get stuff done while the baby's sleeping, but don't neglect her should she need attention.

But there's something about the guy on the box that just cracks me up. First of all, he's out mowing the lawn, which is a bummer task to begin with, and no one could possibly be happy about that. But look at him as he's getting paged. He's smiling--no glowing--as the device vibrates, and duty calls. Trust me, no matter how much you love your kid, if this thing goes off it's not a good thing. Someone in marketing at Fisher-Price has a twisted sense of humor.

I'm really impressed by this device. It actually listens for the baby to make some odd noise and pages you? That's so cool!

I have to say it looks cheesy more than funny but I can see the comedy on this...
