You know Google has completely hit the mainstream when it's mentioned on two Buffy episodes back-to-back, and the ER between them. At this point, who hasn't googled someone (or him or herself)? I actually find it somewhat disturbing encountering old postings I've made out there on the rare occasion my curiousity strikes and I do indulge in a bit of "vanity googling". The curse of timeless record keeping--some things probably should just be left in the past :-). Just now, I found the following ancient posting, posted to some FreeBSD list, violating just about every "how to send a decent bug report" advisory I've ever read since:

Date: Sun, 5 Mar 1995 17:38:10 GMT
From: Steven Kehlet
To: questions@FreeBSD.org
Subject: gdb

Is there a solution to the gdb problem? If so, how can I fix it. I have
the 95-02-10 snapshot.

Thanks!

Gee, "is there a solution to the gdb problem?" Wonderful. How specific.
